Henderson CC’s WeLL Program, which stands for “We Love Learning” aims to encourage learning & self-improvement amongst Children from lower-income and single parent family through building of self-esteem, inspiring confidence and instilling positive personal values.
WeLL logo identity is derived from the story of 井底之蛙 (Frog in a Well). Where the volunteers want every child (the trapped frog in the well) to ‘jump’ out from the well, to be able to see more things, gain more knowledge and pick up new skills that will benefit their future.
The frog is the symbol of WeLL Program as every child is WeLL’s valuable asset. The frog symbol is always placed on top of the WeLL word to emphasize on the idea of an un-trapped frog out of a well.
